The top and bottom "cradle" pieces can hold large coolers up to 70 quarts, and work great for carrying chairs or other bulky items without wasting your valuable interior or truck bed space. The entire unit only weighs 55 lbs. but has a great 300 lb. capacity! Basket dimensions measure 32.25" x 17" x 8" (Inside) each. There is a pivot pin on the horizontal hitch piece that lets you fold the entire unit out of the way of the truck tailgate or SUV rear hatch.
