The popularity of Weird-ohs continued under the inventive direction of the Hawk company for years. In addition to the core model kits there were collector cards from Fleer, jigsaw puzzles, T-shirts, decals, key chains, posters, Halloween masks, even paint-by-number sets, as well as LP's. Who would have guessed that a dozen bizarre model kits would have been the spark that created the wacky surf band, Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos.
