This knife is aesthetically pleasing - the faux wood outer casing of the handle and the smooth stainless steel of the blade contribute to an overall pleasant look. The blade is super sharp and, for protection and safety, comes with a small plastic cover over the tip, which can be attached when the knife is not in use. In a high quality pocket knife, I am looking for a very balanced structure. This knife somewhat lacks this attribute. I feel that a bit more weight could be added to the handle of the knife in order to make it easier to hold and balance comfortably in my hand. When fully extended, the blade becomes locked in place until the locking mechanism on the handle is lifted. This ensures that while in use, the knife will not slip or jerk out of place. This Knife is fine quality and will be great for camping trips and outdoor use.
