These "S" hooks compliment our regular wall or ceiling hooks for hanging plants or pots or whatever you choose. Adding or subtracting more than one or will raise or lower whatever is hanging from them so you can adjust the length to whatever you need. They are very popular in the fireplace for open hearth cooking as well as the kitchen or garden. Made here in Vermont one at a time in our blacksmith shop.
