Bergamot Lemon, (Monarda citriodora), is a herb used by Native American's for treating disorders in the digestive system and coughs,  it is also used a relaxing tea's clalled Oswego tea. Lemon bergamot is a vigorous plant with a wonderful taste and when crushed has a lemon aroma. The flowers are born on sturdy stems, having pale mauve bracts topped by purple flowers, the dried flowers keep their fragrance and colour very well and good for Potpourri.
