It is hand thrown on the potter's wheel with porcelain stoneware clay and hand painted in a multi layer technique developed by the artist using ebony, sky blue over white glaze and the details are hand drawn with white glaze. This is an original work of art as well as a functional bowl. The bowl measures 7 1/2 inches across by 3 inches deep and will hold a regular skein of yarn.
