Crepe de Chine is a lightweight, soft, and subtly textured fabric perfect for evening-wear, bridal/wedding, high-end sportswear, and home decor. Our Crepe de Chine in orange is ideal for light blouses, scarves, dresses, and skirts; as well as makinga great lining fabric. "Crepe de Chine" translates from French as "Crepe of China" it's most recognized by its visible and touchable texture. The fabric is very durable and moderately easy to sew. It's a perfect fabric for warm-weather garments, as the silk fibers have a natural absorbency and the slightly gauzy nature makes it very breathable. This fabric is available in a wide range of colors.

CARE: Hand wash separately in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Agitate gently and rinse with cool water after a few minutes. Do not let the fabric soak. Lay flat to dry, do not wring out. Fabric should be washed before cutting.
