A toy designer for over 40 years, I would like to present my new and innovative line of wooden toys which include "Wood Toys On a Stick" ,"Wooden Whistles with Wheels" , "Puppet Theater" ,"Little Whirligigs" and "Animated Music Boxes. The toys featured are a collection of EIGHT "Wizard Of Oz" characters that have movable arms, legs and mouth. The child makes the wooden hand puppets come alive simply by sliding the wood bead on the handle. My goal is to design toys that encourage pretend play, which helps develop imagination and a sense of humor. I believe these are important in everyday life. My wooden hand puppets are 12" tall, made out of Birch Plywood, and handcrafted here in my workshop in Dyer Indiana. Every toy is shipped with instructions for both care and play.
