This is a really neat item - it's a genuine piece of the CHELYABINSK meteorite (classified as an LL5 Chondrite) that fell on February 15, 2013 in Russia. A piece of this meteorite is a must have for any meteorite collector! The weight of this meteorite is approximately 0.7 grams and it measures 1/2 inch in length at the longest point. Included with the piece is a nice display box as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. One of the really neat things about this meteorite is that there was much video footage obtained when it fell to the Earth.
