  • Connor White is an another especially nice form with a dark red stripe and a strong scape.  Of the two dozen, or so, forms of digweedii we grow, this is one of our top few favorites.   Besides having a strong scape, great color and an ability to offset fast, it provides regular blooms for the last 6 months of every year.   In our opinion, the digweedii type blooms are among the most INCREDIBLE blooms in the world of crinum.
  • Connor White is rare and has never been distributed.   We named it after our oldest grandchild, Connor White.  It makes an excellent selection for a container or near a front border of a flower bed as it does not take up a lot of space or get very large.   The beautiful white, star-shaped flowers have a wide, red stripe running down each teapal/sepal.   We grow about 2 dozen forms of digweedii.
  • We have recorded as many as 6 flowers on scapes as tall as 27".  Digweedii also can go by the common name Nassau Lily and it is a term that refers to any hybrid form of Milk and Wine crinum that have a star, not a trumpet shape, with wide, overlapping tepals/sepals.  Our largest bulb is only about 2 1/2 - 3" in diameter which is about average for a digweedii.  It offsets rapidly and mature bulbs can produce about 6 offset bulbs per year.
  • We have not found it to be fertile, so it won't form seeds.  We have recorded blooms from July through December here in zone 9, northeast Florida.   They are VERY fragrant, smelling like lilac.  They will form beautiful clumps if left undisturbed for many years.  These plants have more erect leaves and a small clump of bulbs only takes up about one square foot, much less than most crinum.
  • We are offering this for the first time on EBay in December 2013. We grow over 1000 different crinum including about 350 of our own hybrids.
