One of a kind signed runway statement necklace featuring an acrylic 5" Octopus with hand set glass eyes, sparkly rhinestone chains and bow. Vintage fish beneath it is hand painted wood. Fish and turtle are also acrylic and decorated with glass eyes, rhinestone chains and hand set gemstone cabochons. Gold plated pendants and charms are paua shell (2 closest to octopus) a crystal starfish and anchor. The 4 exquisite brass beads with inset coral and turquoise are handmade in Nepal. Other gemstone beads are turquoise magnesite 50 mm, faceted agate 20 mm and black agate 10 mm. Necklace is collar length, 15-16" and has a removable 3" extender chain. Last photo shows comparison size with another listed 5" octopus next to smaller 3 1/2" octopus also listed. This is a sturdy necklace and large pendant, suitable for any fun occasion. These necklaces are entered into contests for runway shows. Runway designs have to be big and bold so that they can be seen from a distance, sturdy in case the model falls or it is handled carelessly in the frenzy of those shows. I was a fashion designer for 10 years and designed both the clothing and accessories. I learned to make everything very tough whether in a show or not. Of course, I do recommend careful handling.
