This is a really neat item - it's a lot of 6 meteorite slices preserved in resin blocks. There is a Dronino meteorite from Russia, a Campo del Cielo meteorite from Argentina, a Nantan meteorite from China, and a Muonionalusta from Sweden. These are all Iron meteorites. Also included in the set are some stony meteorites - a NWA 869 meteorite from Algeria, and a Dhofar 020 meteorite from Oman. This is a really amazing way to display and preserve meteorites. It provides protection to the meteorite and allows you to see the internal structure of the meteorites. It's also great for educational purposes as you can pass them around a class without any concern of having the meteorite damaged by being handled. Five of the meteorites are in small individual blocks measuring approximately 3/4 inches in length by x 3/4 inch in height. The other piece is in a resin block measuring 1 1/4 inch x 1 inch.
