This is a really neat item - it's a lot of 3 meteorite slices preserved in resin blocks. There are 2 iron meteorites - a Dronino meteorite from Russia and a Campo del Cielo meteorite from Argentina. There is 1 stony meteorite - a NWA 869 meteorite from Algeria. This is a really amazing way to display and preserve meteorites. It provides protection to the meteorite and allows you to see the internal structure of the meteorites. It's also great for educational purposes as you can pass them around a class without any concern of having the meteorite damaged by being handled. There are 2 resin blocks in the set. One measures 2 1/4 inches x 2 inches and the other measures 2 3/4 inches x 1 3/4 inch. I guarantee these are genuine meteorites.
